ARTICULO 15. TECNOLOGIAS EN LA PRESTACION DEL SERVICIO DE TELEFONIA MOVIL CELULAR. Los licitantes para la adjudicación del servicio de telefonía móvil celular propondrán la tecnología para la configuración de cada red celular, escogiendo entre el estándar AMPS (Advanced Mobile Phone System) o el estándar GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications). También podrán ofrecer en la propuesta los desarrollos tecnológicos aplicables a cada una de estas tecnologías, que puedan ser implantados desde el momento mismo de la adjudicación. En todo caso, el Ministerio de Comunicaciones adjudicará de tal manera que la red celular A en las tres áreas del servicio sea totalmente compatible entre si; igual tratamiento se le dará a la red celular B.
