Funciones del Consejo Asesor. El Consejo Asesor del Fondo de Pensiones Públicas del Nivel Nacional tendrá las siguientes funciones

Recomendar las políticas generales de administración e inversión de los recursos del Fondo, buscando siempre que se inviertan con seguridad, rentabilidad y liquidez.

Velar por el cumplimiento y correcto desarrollo de los objetivos del Fondo.

Revisar el presupuesto anual de ingresos y gastos del Fondo para que sea incluido dentro del presupuesto del Ministerio del Trabajo.

Las demás que le sean asignadas. (Decreto 1132 de 1994, artículo 9°)
