Cuantías de los estímulos. Los estímulos a que se refiere el artículo 2.5.3.5.1.1 del presente Decreto se otorgarán para cada categoría, en las cuantías que a continuación se indican:

a)

Categoría A: el equivalente a 120 salarios mínimos mensuales legales;

b)

Categoría B: el equivalente a 84 salarios mínimos mensuales legales;

c)

Categoría C: el equivalente a 48 salarios mínimos mensuales legales;

d)

Categoría D: el equivalente a 4 salarios mínimos mensuales legales;

Parágrafo 1

Cuando el investigador resida y trabaje en un municipio de menos de dos millones de habitantes, los estímulos se aumentarán en un 10%.

Parágrafo 2

Para ningún efecto legal los estímulos especiales a que se refiere esta Sección constituyen salario.
