El Gobierno continuará adelantando las gestiones y promoverá las acciones necesarias para hacer efectivos todos y cada uno de los derechos reconocidos a la Nación en la sentencia definitiva de fecha 30 de noviembre de 1925, "proferida por la Corte Suprema de Justicia en el doble juicio ordinario entre la Nación y The Santa Marta Railway Company Limited.

Parágrafo

Como consecuencia de lo dispuesto en este artículo, el Gobierno procederá a comprar el ferrocarril de Santa Marta, de conformidad con los términos de dicha sentencia.
