El representante legal del Fondo es el gerente del Banco de la República o quien en forma temporal ejerza tales funciones, por ausencia de este.

Parágrafo

Para ejercer sus funciones, el representante legal de PROEXPO obrará dentro de las facultades consagradas en los presentes estatutos, en el contrato de administración celebrado entre el Gobierno Nacional y el Banco de la República y en las normas estatutarias que rigen aquella entidad bancaria.
