Son funciones de la Sección de Biblioteca: a). Organizar la biblioteca general del Ministerio; b). Aplicar sistemas técnicos en el manejo de bibliotecas; c). Organizar un índice de publicaciones periódicas seleccionadas, tanto nacionales, como extranjeras, que se refieran a materias de interés para el Ministerio; d). Elaborar un programa anual de adquisiciones; e). Reglamentar y coordinar el uso de las publicaciones; f). Organizar el servicio de préstamo de obras científicas y publicaciones periódicas; g). Responder por el buen estado y conservación de todas las publicaciones.
