El artículo 293 quedará así: "Artículo 293-1. Es obligatorio para el trabajador el tratamiento médico prescrito, especialmente el quirúrgico, cuando de acuerdo con la apreciación médica conduzca a la curación. "2. La renuencia injustificada a cumplir con las prescripciones médicas previa del auxilio correspondiente".
