El Ministerio de la Protección Social definirá los mecanismos y la organización de la Red Nacional de Cáncer y concurrirá en su financiación. Esta Red será coordinada por el Instituto Nacional de Cancerología.

Parágrafo

La red tendrá como objeto la gestión del sistema integral de información en cáncer, la gestión del conocimiento, la gestión de la calidad de la información, la gestión del desarrollo tecnológico y la vigilancia epidemiológica del cáncer.
