Artículo octavo. Los pagadores exigirán a los Rectores o Directores de establecimientos oficiales de enseñanza, o a quienes hagan sus veces, como requisito indispensable para el pago de su sueldo correspondiente al mes inmediatamente siguiente al de los exámenes de fin de año, la constancia escrita, expedida por el Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística (DANE), de haber cumplido con la obligación de entregar diligenciados todos los datos estadísticos solicitados en los respectivos formularios para el año lectivo inmediatamente anterior. Los pagadores serán responsables de las sumas pagadas sin este requisito, las cuales les serán elevadas a alcance por el respectivo organismo de control.
