Los órganos que ejercen permanente y transitoriamente funciones de policía judicial, deberán, cuando sea necesario, apoyar las investigaciones de la Justicia Penal Militar.
En los lugares del territorio nacional donde no hubiere miembros del Cuerpo Técnico de Investigación de la Justicia Penal Militar, estas funciones las podrá ejercer la Policía Nacional.
