Los Marinos pueden retirarse voluntariamente después de quince (15) años de servicio, siempre que no estén obligadas a servir por contratos con el Gobierno, en las Escuelas de Entrenamiento Naval, buques o establecimientos de la Armada o por obligaciones determinadas en la presente Ley.
