El Ministerio de Comunicaciones podrá conceder, previa la realización de un procedimiento de selección objetiva, el servicio de radiodifusión sonora en ondas decamétricas tropical, en proporción de una estación por cada quinientos mil (500.000) habitantes, en un mismo municipio o distrito.
