Inhabilidades e incompatibilidades. Para el Gerente de la Zona Franca regirán las mismas inhabilidades e incompatibilidades señaladas en los artículos 16 y 17 de estos estatutos, y en las demás disposiciones vigentes sobre la materia. Sus funciones son incompatibles con las de cualquier otro empleo o cargo público remunerado, con el ejercicio del comercio, con la gerencia de cualquier negocio o empresa o con la intervención en éstos, salvo la representación de la institución.
