Las faltas contra la ética profesional en que incurran los Ingenieros Navales y Profesionales Afines, serán sancionados por los Consejos Profesionales de cada especialidad, sin perjuicio de lo que dispongan las leyes vigentes y las disposiciones en este artículo.

Los Ingenieros Navales y Profesionales Afines asumen ante la sociedad y el Estado una amplia responsabilidad por las decisiones, recomendaciones o propuestas a nivel profesional que realicen y homologuen con su firma y numero de tarjeta profesional.
