º . El alivio previsto en el artículo 19 de la Ley 716 de 2001, consistente en la caducidad inmediata de la información negativa histórica, implica que dicha información no tendrá ningún efecto, por lo cual no podrá utilizarse para negar un crédito.

Parágrafo

No obstante lo previsto en el presente artículo, los bancos de datos podrán conservar en sus archivos la información sujeta al alivio de que trata el artículo 19 de la Ley 716 de 2001.
