ARTICULO 30 . DIVISIONES DE CUENCAS.- Las Divisiones de Cuencas serán dependencias regionales del Ministerio de Transporte las cuales dependerán de la Subdirección de Tráfico Fluvial de la Dirección General de Transporte Fluvial. Funcionarán como Divisiones de Cuencas Fluviales las de Orinoco, Amazonas, Atrato y Magdalena, con sedes respectivas en Villavicencio, Puerto Asís, Quibdó y Barranquilla. Las Divisiones de Cuencas Fluviales representarán a la Autoridad Fluvial Nacional según lo establecido en el Estatuto Nacional de Navegación Fluvial.
