Períodos ordinarios sucesivos. El trámite de un proyecto de acto legislativo tendrá lugar en 2 períodos ordinarios y consecutivos.

Dos períodos ordinarios de sesiones comprenden una legislatura, a saber: el primero, que comienza el 20 de julio y termina el 16 de diciembre; y el segundo, desde el 16 de marzo hasta el 20 de junio.

Parágrafo TRANSITORIO

El primer período bajo la vigencia de la nueva Constitución, inició el 1º. de diciembre y concluyó el día 20 siguiente de 1991; y el segundo, del 14 de enero al 26 de junio de 1992.
