Art. 3.° Los Cabos montados y de á pie sobrantes de las escuadras, serán destinados como Pesadores de sal, en los términos del artículo 5.° del decreto número 298 de 1886 ( Diario Oficial número 6,676) y los Guardas montados sobrantes, serán empleados exclusivamente en el servicio de rondas.
