La Dirección General del Presupuesto velará por el cumplimiento de las normas legales y reglamentarias sobre el gasto público, por el uso eficiente de los recursos y comprobará el destino final de los dineros, para lo cual podrá solicitar la presentación de libros, comprobantes, estados financieros y demás información que considere conveniente.
