La cuota del seguro de vida colectivo de que trata el artículo 1o. de la Ley 44 e 1929 será proporcional al tiempo del servicio del empleado u obrero, y se pagara a razón de un mes de sueldo por cada año de servicio. En ningún caso el valor del último sueldo devengado en un año. Los empleados u obreros que devenguen sueldo anual que sea o exceda de cuatro mil doscientos pesos ($4.200) tendrán derecho a un seguro por la suma de tres mil pesos ($3.000). Queda en estos términos reformado el artículo 1o. de la Ley 44 de 1929 .
