El beneficiado perderá el derecho a la Medalla Cívica Camilo Torres por los siguientes motivos: 1º Haber sido condenado a pena corporal aflictiva por Jueces competentes; 2º Haber cometido actos públicos que lo hagan indigno del honor de pertenecer al magisterio; 3º Haber ejecutado cualquier hecho que afecte la dignidad de la República y en particular la causa de la educación.
