Article 19

Causales De Cesación De La Acción

Ley 1828 de 2017 · por medio de la cual se expide el Código de Ética y Disciplinario del Congresista y se dictan otras disposiciones.

Cesará la acción ético disciplinario cuando:

a)

Se establezca que el hecho no existió o no constituye violación a la presente ley.

b)

Exista cosa juzgada por idénticos hechos y el mismo autor.

c)

La conducta sí existió, pero el Congresista no la cometió.

d)

La conducta esté amparada por una de las causales de exclusión consagradas en el artículo 18.

e)

Por muerte del Congresista.

f)

La acción prescriba, de conformidad con el inciso 2° del artículo 35 de esta normativa. Parágrafo, En cualquiera de estos casos se ordenará el archivo de las diligencias.
