Artículo único. Las facilidades y exenciones establecidas por el artículo 8º de la Ley 22-bis de 1936, y por el artículo 34 de la Ley 161 de 1948, podrán extenderse, a juicio del Gobierno Nacional, a los extranjeros cónyuges de colombianos por nacimiento, cuando éstos hayan prestado servicios importantes al país o que por méritos especiales se hagan acreedores a este tratamiento de excepción. Quedan en estos términos adicionadas las Leyes 22-bis de 1936 y 161 de 1948. Comuníquese y publíquese.
