De conformidad a lo dispuesto en el Decreto 078 de 1978 el Director General de Tesorería determinará conforme a las leyes y de acuerdo con las instrucciones que imparta el Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público, las entidades bancarias en que los Establecimientos Públicos Nacionales deben mantener las cuentas oficiales, e informará al Contralor General de la República para los efectos de la firma de cheques por parte de sus auditores.
