La Nación colombiana se asocia a la celebración del Bicentenario de la fundación del Municipio de Bolívar en el departamento del Cauca, la cual acaeció el día 10 de junio de 1794, y se rinde homenaje a la memoria de su fundador el padre Domingo Belisario Gómez, y se exalta la capacidad creadora y el espíritu de superación de sus pobladores.
