Recibida por un superior competente la denuncia escrita por faltas que constituyen causal de mala conducta, procederá a nombrar de oficio y simultáneamente al funcionario investigador y al Fiscal para que inicie la respectiva investigación después de tomar posesión de sus cargos. Cuando la denuncia le sea llevada en forma verbal, ordenará su presentación por escrito a quien la rinda. En el caso de que ninguna persona le informe sobre el hecho, sino que llegue a su conocimiento por cualquier otro medio, lo hará conocer del funcionario investigador por un informe o parte escrito.
