Son funciones de la Sección de Personerías Jurídicas y Reformas:

1. Estudiar las solicitudes de reconocimiento como personas jurídicas, que presenten por las organizaciones, asociaciones, sociedades o entidades que pretenden adoptar el régimen jurídico cooperativo, y conceptuar si pueden reconocerse o no en tal calidad, según se ajusten a los requisitos legales exigidos.

2. Estudiar y conceptuar sobre las reformas estatutarias parciales o totales que las sociedades cooperativas pretendan ejecutar.

3. Conceptuar sobre las solicitudes de personería jurídica de las sociedades de carácter cooperativo.

4. Las demás que se le asignen.
