La Policía Cívica en la modalidad de voluntarios, es un cuerpo no armado de carácter civil, sin ánimo de lucro constituido con el objeto de prestar servicio de apoyo para el cumplimiento de las misiones específicas de la Policía Nacional y con el propósito de fortalecer las relaciones Policía-Comunidad.
