QUIEN LA CONCEDE. El condenado que se hallare en las circunstancias previstas en el artículo 66 de este Código, podrá solicitar al juez que profirió sentencia de primera o única instancia, la libertad condicional. Cuando la sentencia de primera instancia hubiere sido dictada por el presidente del consejo verbal de guerra, la solicitud se hará a quien convocó el consejo, para la decisión correspondiente.
