Por la mora del pago de dos (2) cuotas periódicas consecutivas quedarán vencidos los plazos y el saldo insoluto del gravamen comenzará a devengar intereses de un y medio por ciento (l/2%) mensual durante el primer año de mora y del dos por ciento (2%) mensual de ahí en adelante. En el evento de ser modificado-el artículo 11 del Decreto legislativo 1604 de 1966, estas tasas se entenderán en concordancia modificadas.
