ARTICULO 4o. Categoría de agentes. El personal de Agentes de la Policía Nacional, para efectos del presente Estatuto, se clasifica en dos (2) categorías según su antigüedad y experiencias profesionales, las cuales se denominan de la siguiente forma

Cuerpo Profesional.

Cuerpo Profesional Especial.
