El Comité de la Asistencia a Connacionales en el Exterior . El Comité de Asistencia a Connacionales en el Exterior, está regulado mediante resolución ministerial y será el encargado de evaluar y recomendar al Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores, la asignación, cuantía y destino de las partidas que se deban otorgar para el desarrollo de la protección de los derechos fundamentales de los colombianos en el exterior y la atención de los casos que por su naturaleza ameriten la asistencia del Estado.
