Modifícase el artículo 2º del Decreto 294 de 1996, el cual quedará así: Créase en el Departamento Administrativo de la Presidencia de la República el Programa Presidencial de Apoyo para la Dotación Hospitalaria, como ente asesor, con los objetivos, estrategias, población objetivo y cobertura geográfica que el Ministerio de salud en su calidad de ente rector del sector salud, diseñe específicamente, previa orientación del Presidente de la República.
