Cuando se trate de proyectos que utilicen los cauces de los ríos como medios de navegación y transporte, se tendrán en cuenta los enlaces pertinentes con otros medios de transporte, tales como carreteables, ferroviario, aéreo, poliductos, se adecuarán las instalaciones portuarias y vías aledañas complementarias, con el fin de elevar su rendimiento y hacer uso integral de los recursos regionales y nacionales. La interrelación entre estos medios detransporte constituye los corredores integrados de transporte.
