Art. 4.° La viuda disfrutará la asignación mientras permanezca en viudez y observe buena conducta; más estará obligada á proveer al sustento y educación de los hijos legítimos de su finado esposo, ya pertenezcan al matrimonio que con ella contrajo, ya á otro anterior. Esta obligación se extinguirá para con los hijos varones cuando lleguen á su mayor edad ó tomen estado, y para con las mujeres en este último caso.
