El artículo de que habla la Ley 109 de 1946 para los damnificados del incendio de Chaparral, se refiere al incendio ocurrido en las primeras horas del día 7 de octubre de 1946, y se aplicará no solamente para la reconstrucción de las edificaciones, sino también para indemnizar a los perjudicados por pérdidas de mercancías, muebles, etc., en proporción a los daños sufridos, y con sujeción a lo dispuesto por la junta creada al efecto.
