El conductor que transite por una vía sin prelación deberá detener completamente su vehículo al llegar a u n cruce y donde no haya semáforo tomará las precauciones debidas e iniciará la marcha cuando le corresponda.

En ningún caso el conductor podrá detener su vehículo sobre la vía férrea, un paso peatonal o una intersección o un carril exclusivo, paralelo preferencial de alimentadores o compartidos con los peatonales, pertenecientes al STTMP. Todo conductor deberá permanecer a una distancia mínima de cinco (5) metros de la vía férrea.

Parágrafo

Ningún conductor deberá frenar intempestivamente y disminuir la velocidad sin cerciorarse que la maniobra no ofrezca peligro.
