º. Para efectos de dar cumplimiento a las disposiciones de la Ley 13 de 1984 y el Decreto 482 de 1985 asígnense a los Asesores 2-1040 de la Secretaría Jurídica, en relación con los jefes de entidades descentralizadas del sector central, las siguientes funciones

Adelantar, por solicitud del Presidente de la República, diligencias preliminares;

Adelantar, por instrucciones del Presidente de la República, las investigaciones disciplinarias;

Formular pliego de cargos;

Rendir informe final y sugerir la medida que a su juicio deba tomar el Presidente de la República;

Explicar y sustentar ante la comisión de personal a que se refiere el artículo siguiente, los hechos y conclusiones de la respectiva investigación.
