Art. 17° . La Compañía privilejiada tendrá el derecho de introducir libremente, i sin pagar derechos de importacion ni otro alguno de cualquiera clase que sea, por los rios Atrato i San Juan, todas las máquinas, instrumentos, herramientas, materiales para casas, víveres i vestidos para los trabajadores que necesite durante el tiempo que se le concede para la construccion del canal.
