En los concursos que se organicen para el ingreso al servicio público, serán admitidos en igualdad de condiciones los Veteranos de la Fuerza Pública, y si se llegare a presentar un empate, se preferirá entre los elegibles a la persona con limitación, siempre y cuando el tipo o clase de limitación no resulte extremo incompatible o insuperable frente al trabajo ofrecido, luego de haberse agotado los medios posibles de capacitación, de conformidad con el artículo 27 de la Ley 361 de 1997 .
