Clases de carga. La carga puede ser carga general o carga a granel. Como carga general se define toda carga unitarizada, contenedorizada, paletizada o semejante, o que está embalada en cualquier forma. Como carga a granel se define toda carga sólida, líquida o gaseosa, transportada en forma masiva, homogénea, sin empaque, cuya manipulación usual no deba realizarse por unidades. La carga refrigerada será considerada según sea el caso como carga general o como carga a granel de acuerdo con el volumen y forma de efectuar el transporte.
