El presente instrumento no dará lugar al pago de prestaciones por contingencias acaecidas con anterioridad a la fecha de su aprobación. Todo período de seguro o período asimilado cumplido en virtud de Ia legislación de un País Miembro antes de la fecha de aprobación del presente instrumento, se tomara en consideración para determinar el derecho a prestaciones originarias en virtud de las disposiciones de este instrumento.
