ARTICULO 85. Licencia por maternidad o aborto. Las empleadas del Ministerio de Defensa y de la Policía Nacional, en estado de embarazo tienen derecho en la época del parto, a una licencia de ocho (8) semanas remuneradas con la totalidad de los haberes correspondientes a su categoría. En caso de aborto en el curso del embarazo la licencia remunerada será de dos (2) a cuatro (4) semanas, según concepto del médico tratante.
