Durante los años de 1960 y 1961, la Escuela Superior de Guerra organizará tres (3) Cursos Especiales de Estado Mayor, cuya iniciación será en febrero y julio de los años citados, con una duración mínima de cinco (5) meses, al cual serán llamados los Oficiales que hagan solicitud y reúnan los requisitos de que trata el artículo 54 del presente Decreto y teniendo en cuenta su mayor antigüedad. El pénsum para este Curso será el mismo que corresponde a la Segunda Fase del Curso de Estado Mayor, de que trata el artículo 48 del presente Decreto.
