EL DECOMISO DE OBJETOS O PRODUCTOS consiste en su aprehensión material, cuando no cumplan con los requisitos, normas o disposiciones sanitarias y en especial las contenidas en el presente Decreto y por tal motivo constituyan un factor de riesgo para la salud individual o colectiva. El decomiso se cumplirá colocando tales bienes en depósito, en poder o bajo la custodia de la autoridad sanitaria.
