Los niños, las niñas y los adolescentes tienen derecho a tener una identidad y a conservar los elementos que la constituyen como el nombre, la nacionalidad y filiación conformes a la ley. Para estos efectos deberán ser inscritos inmediatamente después de su nacimiento, en el registro del estado civil. Tienen derecho a preservar su lengua de origen, su cultura e idiosincrasia.
