º Las Compañías de Seguros deberán adquirir y conservar una suma no inferior al quince por ciento (15%) de sus reservas en cédulas del Banco Central Hipotecario. La Superintendencia Bancaria, con aprobación del Ministro de Hacienda y Crédito Público, fijará el plazo y condiciones dentro de los cuales hayan de hacer la adquisición, así como el término a cuyo vencimiento queden exoneradas las compañías de que se trata, de esta obligación.
