CONTROL Y EVALUACION DE LA CALIDAD DEL SERVICIO DE SALUD. Es facultad del Gobierno Nacional expedir las normas relativas a la organización de un sistema obligatorio de garantía de calidad de la atención de salud, incluyendo la auditoría médica, de obligatorio desarrollo en las Entidades Promotoras de Salud y en las Instituciones Prestadoras de Servicios de Salud, con el objeto de garantizar la adecuada calidad en la prestación de los servicios. La información producida será de conocimiento público.
