El remitente de un envió certificado podrá obtener un aviso de recibo del destinatario, siempre que ponga al frente de la dirección la anotación bien visible "aviso de recibo", o la abreviatura "A.R.." y pague, al tiempo de la introducción del certificado, el derecho especial fijado para estos casos. Este aviso de recibo deberá expedirse junto con él envió que hace materia de él, y para el cálculo del porte respectivo, no se tendrá en cuenta el peso del formulario del aviso de recibo.
