ARTICULO 1o. Naturaleza y Domicilio. - El Instituto de Mercadeo Agropecuario - IDEMA, continuará organizado como una Empresa Industrial y Comercial del Estado, del orden nacional, dotado de personería jurídica, autonomía administrativa y patrimonio propio, vinculado al Ministerio de Agricultura y tendrá como sede la ciudad de Santafé de Bogotá, D. C. Con el único objeto de facilitar el ejercicio de sus funciones y previa decisión de su Junta Directiva, podrá establecer dependencias en cualquier región del país.
